Complete Guide
Understanding Online Slots — From How RNG Works to Strategies for Choosing the Right Game
Many new players ask the same question: how do online slots actually work? Is there a way to improve your chances of winning? The answer is straightforward once you understand the basics. All online slots at mbi777 use Random Number Generator (RNG) that has been certified and independently audited by third-party bodies. This means every spin is truly random and is not influenced by previous spins.
The most important concept for you to understand as a player is Return to Player (RTP). RTP is a percentage that shows how much money is returned to players on average over the long term. For example, a slot with 96% RTP means an average of RM96 is returned for every RM100 wagered. This is not a guarantee of winning in any single session, but it gives you a sense of the game's overall value.
Choosing Slots Based on Volatility
Beyond RTP, volatility — the difference between the frequency and size of wins — is an important factor that new players often overlook. At mbi777, slots are divided into three volatility levels:
- Low Volatility — Wins occur more frequently but in smaller amounts. Ideal for players who want to play longer on a limited budget. Examples: Starburst, Gonzo's Quest.
- Medium Volatility — A balance between win frequency and win size. A popular choice for most players as it delivers consistent excitement.
- High Volatility — Wins are rare, but when they hit, the amounts are large. Ideal for players who are willing to be patient and have a sufficient budget. Examples: Gates of Olympus, Dead or Alive 2.
